«5 Forest Birds» at Košrags
In Kolkas parish, near the
guesthouse «Pītagi», a new nature discovery object called "5 Forest Birds" has been created.
The environmental object consists of six sturdy pine tree trunks. At the end of each trunk, there is an information plaque about this object and five locally residing, beautiful, and somewhat mysterious birds. These birds are often observed or heard by both locals throughout the year and visitors arriving for a moment. To watch videos and listen to the ornithologist's narratives, a mobile phone with a QR code reader will be useful, as the bird stories will be revealed online. The new nature discovery object near the guesthouse «Pītagi» in Košrags, Kolkas parish, is designed for all nature enthusiasts and bird lovers of Slītere National Park.
