Viewing tower on the edge of Šlītere Blue hills
The tower is located on the side of the Dundaga – Mazirbe road, on the ledge of the Šlītere Blue hills, not far from the Šlītere bus stop.
This is the place, where 10 000 years ago the ancient Baltic Ice lake shore was.
In appropriate weather conditions, the view over the tops of the forest trees can reach up to 5 km into the Baltic Sea. There is a car parking lot and information stand by the tower.
